Tax Analysis Report

The Tax Analysis Report screen is divided into two sections; System Parameters and User Parameters. In the System Parameters section, the user must specify details for the format of the report; in the User Parameters section, the user must specify details pertaining to the content of the report. Report Description


The Tax Analysis Report details the taxes paid by the Firm, and the taxes charged to Clients. The report is sorted by Office and Department, and provides both Office and Department totals for Taxable Disbursements and Taxes Charged. The report is generated based on a user specified Office, range of Departments, and Accounting Period, and can only be generated for a single Tax type at a time.

User Parameters

Show Office/Department - From the list provided, the user must select whether or not report information will be displayed according to Office and Department. Valid options are "Y" (i.e. show associated Office and Department) and "N" (i.e. do not show associated Office and Department).

Office - From the list provided, the user must select the Office for which the report will be produced. The names of all Offices associated with your Firm will be displayed in the list. To include all Offices in the report, the user must select the "Select All" option. This field defaults to the Select All option.

Department X To X - From the lists provided, the user must select the range of Departments to be included in the report. The names of all Departments associated with your Firm will be displayed in the list. The user also has the option to manually enter the unique identifiers of the Departments. To include all Departments in the report, the user must select the "Select All" option in both fields. These fields default to the Select All options.

Tax Type - From the list provided, the user must select the type of Tax structure for which the report will be produced. Only one Tax structure can be included in the report at one time. All Tax structures that are established in your system will be included in the list.

Accounting Month X To X - From the lists provided, the user must select the range of Accounting Months for which the report will be generated. The user also has the option to manually enter the Accounting Month numbers. These fields default to the current Accounting Month.

Accounting Year - The user must manually enter the Accounting Year for which the report will be generated. This field defaults to the current Accounting Year.
